Why Australians Love Shopping with Koala
Koala revolutionised Australian bedroom retail by taking the hassle, showroom pressure, and inflated markups out of buying furniture. Here is how you can maximise your value when ordering directly from Koala Australia:
- The Genuine 120-Night Trial: Testing a mattress for ten minutes in a crowded showroom cannot replicate real sleep. Koala gives you four full months to sleep on your mattress at home; if your body does not adjust, you receive a full refund of your purchase price.
- Fast Tool-Free Assembly: Koala bed bases, desks, and sofas are engineered with clever interlocking joinery, allowing you to assemble or disassemble a full timber bed in under ten minutes without screwdrivers or power tools.
- Ethical 1% for the Planet Giving: As a certified B Corp, every purchase supports Australian wildlife conservation, with a portion of sales directly funding habitat protection for koalas, glossy black cockatoos, and sea turtles.

- Bundle vs. Single-Item Rules: We test whether promotional coupon codes stack with pre-discounted bedroom bundles (like mattress and base combinations) or if they apply strictly to individual pieces.

Frequently Ask Questions
What is the best Koala Australia promo code available right now?
The highest ongoing discount is the verified 10% to 15% student discount through UNiDAYS, along with the 10% welcome voucher for new newsletter subscribers on qualifying spends.
How does the Koala 120-night trial work?
The 120-night trial begins the day your order is delivered. You can sleep on the mattress or use the furniture in your home; if you decide it is not right for you within 120 days, Koala will provide a full refund of the product purchase price.
Are returns really free on Koala mattresses?
Yes, for customers living in metro Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, and Perth, Koala provides free in-home pickup for bulky returns like mattresses and sofas. Regional customers are responsible for transport costs back to the nearest capital city fulfillment centre.
Why is my Koala promo code not working?
Discount codes usually fail if your cart contains items already on clearance, if your order subtotal falls short of the required minimum spend in AUD (such as 1,000 AUD on introductory codes), or if another promotional discount is already active in your cart.
How long does delivery take for Koala in Australia?
In major metro areas, mattresses and in-stock furniture are often eligible for same-day or next-business-day delivery windows. Regional transit typically takes between 3 to 10 business days depending on your postcode.
Can you stack multiple promo codes on Koala?
No. Koala permits only one promotional discount code per transaction. If a sitewide sale is running, automatic site discounts generally take priority over manual coupon codes.
